cannondale vs predator
#2
I have dragged my brothers totally stock Raptor and beaten him in a quarter-mile by an avererage of one quad length. He has more experience then me as I just switched from an auto to a manual clutch. What's different about this is that we both weight 250+lbs. Yet the shootout on this web site say that the Predator is at a disadvantage with the heavier riders. Yes, I know that was in comparison to the cannondale, but the Raptor, I thought, had more low end grunt.
I would take the Raptor until fourth when he would start to catch up. We both top out at the same speed which usually leaves me a quadlength ahead.
One more note, I dragged him on snow covered pavement and could take an extra two quadlengths lead on him. I mostly attribute this to the Raptor overpowering in the low end and spinning until he got some speed. We both gunned it starting in 2nd.
Just a little comparison that really means nothing. The Draggs weren't exactly scientific, just thought it interesting that a Predator can hold it's own even with a heavier rider
Oh, I almost forgot I, have not put my pipe on yet, so
