get 20" tires and the gearing will stay the same, at least i would think. and i don't know about where to get them, ask someone else that. and you won't need a new chain if you don't change the gearing.

The gearing on the Predator is a little high stock. So if you put 22" tires on, you will be worse. To keep your stock gearing with 22" tires, you will have to go with a 13 tooth front sprocket or a 40 tooth rear. I put a 13 on mine with stock tires , and is where I want it. I would go to a 13 front first. It's easier and cheaper. You can get one from sprocker speacialist for a 02 xr650L of a Honda.

NO, you will not need a new chain. You will have to tighten it after the install.

Ok..did some looking up..alot of people say go with the rear..why..the swap looks pretty much the same..? How much more is the front then the rear? Finding this xr650L 13tooth has been harder then i thought..but i can get a 38 from the dealer..would 38 be enough..or would i have to go with a 40??
And if i put my stock tires back on..will i be geared too low? or just right??
