I think you're posting off the beaten trail. There's another thread with the info running wild....maybe try there.

BigBear,
The legal displacement limit for a machine to be considered and ATV is 800cc's (or is it 799?, one of the two). I don't think any of the manufacturers will break that ceiling.

800cc limit huh? Rapter question now. I was filling up my Predator at the gas station and a kid there said he had a 770 Raptor and that they made a 900cc kit for it too. Do they or was he fibbing? Just qurious.

It's a possibility that an aftermarket company may make one, but none of the manufacturers would ever make a factory bigbore kit like that.

I have seen the same thing about the 800cc thing. I forgot what they would classify something over 800cc,s. You would need a license to drive it though.

An ORV (off-road vehicle). There is also a weight limit of 800 pounds.

Heard a few months back that Poalris was going to use different plastic. Going to be "easier" to get to things.
That would be a big improvement!
Was some talk about Visco-Loc 4-Wd systems. That would be nice too. Engine braking with all 4-wheels. Actually I am happy with my 700 , but if they make................ya never know.

all i have to say is that if polaris does make a quad that has more than 800cc's or wieghs more than 800 lbs. that the states will change thier limits as to wieght and cc's so that they can continue to collect thier registration money . states are greedy and they will always change thier laws so they can continue to collect our hard earned dollars . SO GO AHEAD AND MAKE IT POLARIS , WE WILL BUY IT AND THE STATES WILL CHANGE THIER LAWS SO THEY CAN CONTINUE TO HAVE THIER HANDS IN OUR POCKETS !!!!!!
