Default Fuel Mixture Screw

Turns out my raw fuel smell was a leak at the "reblock" plastic part between the carb and the motor, was warped and needed to be replaced. Dealer said they only found it by sheer luck. It happened to backfire while sitting there.

Runs quite a bit better now!! lmao

Default Fuel Mixture Screw

could this be why my 03 sportsman 500 does not start unless i give it a little gas? (choking only makes it start harder) And the only time i can start it without the throttle is about 5 minutes after i shut it off. It will just sit there and crank unless i just barely push the throttle in, (warm idle is set at 1200 rpm)

Any thoughs if this is it, can i get to the mixture screw without drilling all over the place?
