Default Oil FIlter Gasket for Predator

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can call on Monday to get an oil filter cover gasket for my predator? I went to three local area So.Cal. dealers, and all said they are on back-order...with no delivery date given. This is by far the most irritating situation I have ever seen. I love the predator, but I guess it's going to have to sit for a while as it's next oil change will be due after this weekend...

I used a 400EX oil filter for it's first change, and it is working perfectly. But I reused the original gasket, and it is weeping just slightly...It will most likely not be re-usable again.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,

JJ

Have you tried using silicone? If you have a ford dealer close they have a very good sealant,it is a grey colored silicone.Ford uses it on alot of cars as oil pan and other gasket sufaces. It should work just don't us to much or it will push into your filter.
