I put a "Pure Polaris" silencer on both of my new Predators.

There are eight discs on it right now (the silencer came with eight discs installed out of the box), but I want to add two more to make it "thoatier" and louder. Where can I get additional discs?

How many do you run in your Predator?

 

Six will be the number I use, that is what's been recommended so far. The header pipes are very large stock and you need backpressure to make it run well so that's where I would start. The Superbike Shop is doing R&D now, their site has some good info.

Does that seem right, or am I simply counting them incorrectly as it is kinda hard to see while they are mounted.

 

Yes they come with 8 but experiment with it, try 6,7 see which set up seems to work the best. Depending on your elevation you may have to change the jetting also especially if you do ANY airbox mods or change to a K&N filter.

 

OK, I just removed them and there are a total of nine discs on it.

The airbox is stock.

The jetting is stock.

I ride at seal level in Mexico where it can get very hot and humid.

Is my stock jetting going to be "OK" with the above set up?

 

Yes your jetting should be ok.....
