250 Trailblazer or 330 Trail Boss

Well, my thanks to all who answered...this is surely the very best part of these type of forums..owner to owner info exchange...Thanks again...
I have to agree with Bubba297 and Bubba Hyde, the larger 400 cc liquid cooled T/B sure seems like the better choice for our intended purpose...I know that her personality and style will be that of a "putter", not really a hill charging dune ridge rider...but I would prefer her to have more power than she will need, than not enough if she did need it. I also really do feel the liquid cooling here in our hot 120+ temps desert will make for a longer lasting ride...
I asked these questions for mulitple reasons, to show my other half the best choice based on other rider's experiences, and to be able to justify the slightly higher price I want to pay for HER new toy! I was also concerned about longevity and maintenance issues as well...
I ride a new Predator, and previously had a very fast 1989 Honda 250R quad...so I do understand the basics...but I have so little expereince with any other Polaris machines, I wanted and needed to hear the types of responses given...
Once again, thanks to all...it has been abig help in my decision process..
What do you folks feel is a good out the door price for a new T/B 400???

Our dealer will always sell cheaper for the cash price, usually about $200. The sticker price at our local shop is $4799. I personally wouldnt get the extended warranty, because these are good machines and they come with a 6 month warranty anyway. I would run the synthetic gold oil, because it doesnt smoke much if any at all, and everyone knows how good the synthetic oils are now. if you run across any problems, we can help get you through them. Good luck and hope you find a good one. One word of caution: You are probably in the midsts of making a monster. You'll have a tough time getting your wife to quit once this starts.LOL. Bubba
