Default predator reliability

i've been looking into getting a predator for some time, but i got a buddy who works at a polaris/honda shop and said that they've been getting predators in with dirt leaking in between the airbox and carb. he said that the plastic airbox doesnt flex enough to fit the bell on the carb. what im wondering is if any of you guys have experienced this problem. and if so what have you done to fix it, short of completly replacing it in favor of a kn bolt on...

thanks
cody

My stock air filter plenum was very tight when placing it back on the carb. You just have to jerk it around a bit and push it on pretty hard. It's there when it's crammed right against the carb body. Then tighen the clamp down good. It will suck in air if it's not on right!!!

Otherwise, when mounted right, I've had no dirt/dust leaking into the carb...I have about 25 hours on the quad now...
