Default predator VS. DS650?

i have seen a predator race a DS that i built. the DS was on alky with head work. the only after market parts was carb and CDI. we had the stock pipe coated and new style muffler.

the predator impressed me. even with me riding the DS the predator was a good race. we dynoed the DS at 4SW's and got 54HP.

i think with alittle tuning the predator can be a very fast bike.

What kind of carb are you running with the alky ds, The pred has the same carb, i feel an idea coming on.

Default predator VS. DS650?

it has a 45mm carb that RON WOODS sells.

i'm pretty sure it will fit and they make a alky kit for it. the guy that i was racing that day got a stock DS carb and is in the middle of converting it to alky. so maybe when he gets it done he can post info on how to do it.
