Default ice screws/studs for predator

anybody have any suggestions on what brand or what to use for drilling screws into my stock tires for ice riding on the river here in Minnesota. I have an 03 pred. How many screws per tire? rear/front. Do many rip out while riding? How about using the new carbide lug studs made for snowmobile tracks? Thanks in advance.

Check out my pic's in my Gallery, Predator stock tires studded. I have since added about 700 more studs I'll try to get new pictures for you. I have 7 in each rear lug except the out side row and in the front I have 4 in each lug except the outside rows. Alittle over 1600 in total but it's some sweet being able to wheelie it on ice and right across the lake.

I used 1/2 inch sheet metal screws with a number 8 hex head.

I have only had 2 rip out but you can only ride on snow/ice or you will rip out alot more and gravel will wear them out quickly.

My rears look identical to the current pics of pleasures rears. I didn't go as drastic as his fronts, and didn't seem to need it. I corner great running the rivers here in Wisconsin, and hook-up is fantastic. You're still gonna get wheel spin if you run across snow, but when the sleds blow all the snow off the corners, you'll hook up great. It's fun racing 100mph+ sleds that arn't studded and blow by them in the corners, but then they smoke me on the straights!
