front sprocket

Default front sprocket

has anyone put a smaller front sprocket on there scrambler 500

Don't do it , It will throw your gear ratio off for your AWD system the only way do it would be to calculate the diff in the ratio and change the front tire size to match the new ratio in the rear

well i already bought a smaller sprocket a 13t so what does that mean i haveto get smaller front tires do you no what size cause im getting new ones anyways

i new a guy that did that and he just bought 21/7/10 tires and it worked fine

We've went both ways with sprockets on a 4x4 Scram 400 Trail Mod. If you are like me, I only used the 4wd when I absolutely had to. The difference in gear ratio's between the front and back were never enough to matter. It had to be really soupy to notice any difference at all.....

do you thinkthat you would have to change the front tires to smaller or bigger cuase i might get 22in instead of 23

I didn't change my tire size, but I guess it wouldn't hurt.....

FTZLT250r, do you still have your 400 so you didnt hurt nothing on it, and would you get bigger tire or littler tires
