Default ooops,did I do that??

Here is the short version.I got my scrambler handlebars caught under a tree branch this weekend. My buddies and I pulled the quad to the side and pulled the throttle unit practically off the end of the bars. Now the bike is running full throttle in forward gear.It was on slick icy mud and just sat there and spun.I panicked and slammed the shifter back into nuetral, then killed the motor. We got the throttle put together and the bike was good as new,so I thought.Went to use reverse later and no-go.I adjusted my linkage and still nothing.I'm thinking when I slammed it into nuetral, it must have went too far and caught reverse gear and stripped it out.I don't know the first thing about this tranny so if anyone could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.By the way forward works great, rode the rest of the day just fine.
