rear end
hi all .
i have a 2001 trailboss 325. my problem i ame haveing is in the rear end . any one that has a chain drive might be able to help me . well when i jacked the bike up about 6 months ago to change the chain an sprockets i happen to grap a hold of the i think it called the chain gaurd u know the big black disk on the right side of the chain . and when i did that i rotaed it front to back and i am getting play in it know it moves the chain and every thing else thats connected to it . i get about 1/4 inch or more play . some one told me thats common in older bikes but what i was wondering is there any adjustment to take out some of that play . it drives me crazy because when i let off the throttel it make a clunkin sound almost like the trany snaped but didnt. it also does it when i go over slitly sharp bumps . any one have an idea on what the heck could be wrong cant realy get a direct answer.
please help
thank u
