Does anyone know the difference in hp between the Predator and Scrambler 500? Any chance Polaris will put the Predator motor in the Scrambler?

I belive the Stock Scrambler 500 racks in around 36hp and the Predator brings in at about 42-43hp, both measured at the rear wheels. I doubt they will put the pred motor in the scrambler. But hopefully they will slap a bigger bore in a scrambler....scrambler 700 twin would be sweet!!

Thanks for the info pudljumpr. As a life-long snowmobile fanatic, it still escapes me where all the horsepower is. My 1978 Blizzard 340 was 60hp. Why can't they put a 2-stroke 500 twin with power valves and 90 horse in an atv? Even the 400 single should be good for 50-60. As Tim Allen would say, "MORE POWER!!".
