Well, my buddy's chain on his 99 Scrambler 500 4x4 broke today and tore a big hole out of his transmission case. It even had the plastic case saver on and it busted that too. Anybody have a right side tranny case for sale?

What plastic case saver are you talking about? Did he have the upgraded case half that came out in 2002? It has a much better plastic case saver than what came on the older ones. The tranny case is much beefier around the output shaft as well. Go to my photos and look at the upgraded tranny case. It will mate up to earlier year models that are concentric drive.
