carver,
Contact your Congressman(or woman) and find out if there are any people from your area serving overseas. They can give you an address that you can send letters or "care packages" to, to help keep up thier morale and you can thank them directly. I know when I received things over there, either from family, friends, or strangers it was the greatest feeling knowing that you are loved, missed, and appreciated. I even sent thank you notes to all the people I recieved things from when I got back, just to let them know we appreciated their support. Thanks...........

Amen:
I love our troops and would do anything to hslp support them.
http://www.glennbeck.com/news/03052003.shtml This is a link to send email's to our troops. Please do so, and forward it to people who care
LTZEvil400: I think I remember reading that you were in Desert Strom/Shield. Thank You
Did you know that since all the terrorist crap has happened we can'tt send any "care packages" to the troops, we can't even send real mail. Only email. I know fron my Uncles/Grandpa that those care packages were a huge morale booster to the overseas troops.
This is a perfect example of the freedoms that will be taken from us if we don't support our troops and stand up to these terrorists.

Gotta love this post. The first thing I'v read in awhile that makes me proud to be an AMERICAN. To bad most people don't have the same feelings as us. I guess they take all there freedoms for granted. Not me I know the price that was paid for us.
GOD BLESS AMERICA.
p.s. carver, God bless you to for having the heart, and pride to start a post like this. You rock man.lol

Thanks for the info on the e-mails only. I guess I will be very busy typing e-mails for a while. Thanks for all the Thank yous guys, they are still very much appreciated. The funny thing is that if they asked me to go back I would! I feel like I have some unfinished business over there.

I'm new here and would just like to say Thanks for supporting our troops here in Polaris Country. Here's a big salute to all who have and will sacrifice in any way to keep my family safe.
