Polaris vs Kawisucky

Sfer....now what were those words I quoted "old man machine", thanks for agreeing with my quotation.
Kev, There's a difference, I don't feel the need to travel ALL around the forum expressing the joy my Polaris quads have brought me....you do. Why not just go ride, or stick to the Kawi forum, and just have fun. Almost seems insecure.

First of all there probably isn't one person with who went through a proper "break in" period on their 700. Real smart to be racing them already. I am sure they will befaster after proper break in. Maybe they won't beat your, modded 400 2 stroke. So what? There's a lot of modded 4 cylinders out there that will beat V-8's. I think your jelous.

Doug actually states that he is going to get one and mod it up and turn it into the perfect old man machine he never says that it is (in stock form) an old man machine
In its stock form, its the perfect old ladies machine...

Shotgun, the day one of those 700 outruns my big bore alky racer it will be on nitrous or modded to the max on alky. And I dont care about the big jumps. I can ride the dunes all day and hit the trails or anything else you want to do. All for under the nice price of $4500 total in the bike. You can have the Kawasucky.

If I was in going to buy a for a fourwheeler in todays market , I would pick the 700 Kawasaki .
Is it slower than it ought to be ? Yes , every quad I've ever riden has never been as fast as I read they were . With 700 cc's to tinker with I do believe one could get more zap out of it than it has on the show room floor.
The buyers of this machine will probably be a little older, (younger fellers will want the Kaw/Suz 400's to jump and all that ) what will attact buyers to this machine is the big engine , shaft drive , and the auto-tranny.
Of all the new stuff available , Kawasaki 700 interests me the most .

Rick, I'm 39 and already have the blueprints for a nitrous equipped wheelchair! With titanium axles...and a carbon fiber cupholder. Mojave, good point about people not giving them time to break in. Um, as far as jealous...snicker, snicker. I'm grinnin' like an idiot ever since Polaris released the Predator. If I wanted 700 cc's, I'd drop some change on a Sportsman, then I'd have that sweet 4 wheel drive button to push. Enjoy whatever you ride, just make sure you're happy with your selection.

Bubba,
I looked at you pic's, nice bike, I can see why you are proud of it. I am very familiar with Polaris, that is what we use to pull and race with until we "upgraded to Kawasucky's, to get more power".
I wish we lived closer, then we could see how you would do against one of our "Kawasuckys". I take it from the way your talking, there would be no problem.

I spent all of last weekend riding the new v-force 700, just purchased by a good friend. I just don't see what all of the fuss is about. It is fun to ride has good power, but its just another sport quad. (nothing special) other than it's new. It has some things i like and some i don't. I just don't see that it is any better than the other quads on the market right now. It may have the biggest engine, but it's not the fastest, it's not the best handling, it's a little on the heavy side. Polaris has been making automatic's for years, nothing new there. So what's the big deal????????????????????????

Shotgun, I like dealing the bull out like everyone else sometimes. I am as easy as anyone to get along with and love having a good time. Dont ever take most of my posts as serious, because that's not me. I really would like to meet up with everyone on this forum, but those darn miles can take some time and money.
