My Predator is suppose to be here on the 24th and have a couple of questions for ya. I ordered the front rezzy's from the dealer also (fiqured what the hell now or never and the wife will think they come stock ). Anyway, curious what you have your spring preload set at with the rezzy's and what position you are running them on. Helped a friend set up his pred. suspension this weekend but he did not have the rezzy. What we did was set the back preload at 30% and the front ruffly around 20%. That is fully extending the shock, taking measurements and then sitting on the quad and getting that % of sag or settling. Does this sound about right? Also, do you know in inches what the max should be on the shocks the owners manual doesnt say. Thanks

I've been switching back and forth between #3 and #4 on the rezzi's. I have the springs just an 1/8" tighter than the recommended max of 11.875". Going out tomorrow for some testing of another product, but the woops will be near, and the shocks will get a workout.

Thanks

Is that 11.875" the length of the springs fully extended. Wanting to make sure I measure correctly. What have you done with the rear?

Yes, that measurement is with the shock at full extension. For the rear, I backed the rezzie down to 3, as I remember the rebound was backed off 4 or 5 clicks, and the spring isn't quite done yet....the woops tomorrow will finish that up.

Found the woops, and gave the Pred a big time workout. Clicked down on the fronts to #2, and wow, I just had to keep going back and forth. This thing gets more fun (to be read faster) every time I take it out. I think it's safe to say, the suspension is dialed. I sure wish Polaris would put these things on from the factory. A few extra bills up front, but man, all the difference in the world. I did find a stray patch of ice....that's a whole nother pucker story. Came around a hairpin corner, and zing!

sounds like you got that thing dialed in good. I can only imagine the ice, been there before also. Sometime if you can, would you measure how much sag you have in the rear from fully extended to you sitting on it. We are trying to get my neighbors dialed in and cant get the preload dialed in just perfect. Last night we set the ride height sag to 4" in the rear, hopefully he will get a chance to try it out tonight. Set the fronts up so they had 2.5" of sag last night also. After messing with his, right now I can hardly wait till mine gets here with them front rezzi's on. We are both curious to see what the differance is between mine and his. Thanks for the help.

One other thing what sprockets you running for trail riding. He made the comment last night he was going to have to change his it is still stock. not sure to get a 38 or 39.

Just follow the tips on I think it's the Duncan racing site. Sooo many numbers and tech info flying around lately. I think it was 30% rear, and 20% front. Check the site to make sure I'm not spewing bad info.
