Default HPD Predator Steering Ready

Just off the phone with Darrell. HPD has the heavy duty Predator steering kits ready to ship. It replaces all 4 steering links (2 long, and 2 short). They are greaseable, chromoly, and solid rod ends....not like the stock injection molded units. The cross country racers have trashed the stockers after a few races. The price is $225 for the whole kit. If you're not familiar with how spendy the aviation quality rod ends are, that's why it's a little spendy. As usual from HPD, they test and race what they sell. In the background, there was a screaming Predator!!!! The elfen magic workshop is in full gear, better get those loose fillings replaced now.

The steering stems are being held up by a off-line lazer cutter. They'll be ready shortly. And that's the lazer (using Austin Powers quotation fingers)...hehe

Sweet deal, but for that price, I think I'll wait until I hash my stock ones. Hopefully the stock holds out for at least half the Hare Scramble season though!! Okay, now that the stems are finished, full steam ahead on an exhaust project, I'm getting eager with thoughts of HPD power on my pred!!

Hey badazz,
Hopefully this weekend I will finish up my recent roll of film. I'll save a pic and do a good shot of the handguards, so hopefully by this time next week I will have a whole new load of pred pics to share! I really like them. They are a little finicky with the front brake parking brake setup, but it still works pretty good and by far the best pair of handguards I've ever owned on a machine. Very adjustable. If you've gotten your new Dennis Kirk, or check the website. They are powermadd star series handguards and DK just started offering them this year. But like I said, pics by next week!! Oh yeah, and they are pretty cheap, $35 for the plastic flag and $20 for the mounting kit. The mounting kit is black powder coated stainless steel...sweet!
