Default Which oil to use?

I have a 2002 scrambler 400 2 stroke. I was wondering if anyone is using any other oils than the polaris gold synthetic. I was thinking about switching from the polaris gold to another oil, would anyone reccomend this, if so which oil should I switch to. I want to use synthetic again but I'm unsure of the weight that I should be using. Any info would be great thanx.

Also if I change to another brand of synthtic oils will I have to change to the synthetic injection oil?

Better yet, switch to the Polaris non-synthetic blue. Works great, skip the hype and save your bucks for some performance mods.

Hey Ken,
What do you run in your predator and what do you recommend for break in oil.

Amsoil synthetic injector oil is less expensive and arguably better than Pol oil.

ColoPred, I use PS4. Not gonna risk the hearbeat of the beast to anything esle.

95Sport400, My 99 Sport bottom end is just getting a precautionary freshening after multiple seasons of 14 and 15.5:1 compression seasons. I use the plain Polaris blue in the machine after the techs in the largest volume shop in Minnesota suggested it. I'm pushing almost three times the stock HP, no burn down's, lost bearings, or build-up. I guess I'm a fan of their suggestions. Run what you want, this stuff works for me.
