Still Dang glad I bought the predator.....
I spent the lunch-time at the local Honda/Zuki/Bomb dealer sitting on Z400's and 400ex's looking for something for the wife.
The 250X has been labelled the "attack quad" so its time for something a little bit bigger and "stable" than the 250x.......(my god, how DO you loop one of them out from a standing start......2 people in 2 weeks have done it.......sigh)
Sitting on other 400 sized class machines from some other major manufacturer simply re-enforced what an awesome machine the predator is..........
The rubber brake hoses had so much squish to them I was shocked. I thought the machine on the show room floor must need its brakes bled. Nope, all the other machines without steel braided brake lines had almost a full 1/2" or 1" of soft spongy front brake feel. YUCK!
Lets see, who is the only manufacturer to offer braided steel lines. POLARIS.
I sit on the Z400, and it feel real long in the nose, and narrow. Sit on a 400ex, even smaller feeling..........I'm thinking, gawd these just don't feel right, but its for the wife for the wife for the wife.........
Why settle for second best........I should just get her another predator untill Honda or Cramaha get off their duff and release the 450 class machines that are in development........
Still dang glad I bought a TL predator!
