Little Sahara

Well just to give everyone the low down on this weekend at little sahara
Other than being cold it was a good weekend a lot of racing going on,
and there was some really fast bikes.
There was about 5 really really fast bikes highly pricey banshees
all on alcohol, and one with a turbo, and they have put on the average into each bike about
30,000. Which of course is out of our league on racing with them.
Of course with 3 of them being from Russellville AR, ok ok its some of our riding buddys
which I have to give them credit the things will fly. But enough about them.
Now as for Bubba's bike
As for the racing well there was only 2 others that where close, those being
1) Raptor with a 686cc engine with all of the other stuff to
The thing would fly also, Every time we would race the winner was determind by
whomever got the jump on the start line. It was always a tight race.
2) Chris's Quadzilla, which has a a CPR ported jug with a CT outlaw pipe.
I got to drive this one also, pretty darn cool.
The Biggest kick all weekend was everyone looking really close at the bike trying to
figure out what it could be. Surley a POLARIS couldn't be out running a lot of people.
But the biggest highlight is when a few guys stopped Bubba to find out what he had done to his
bike and they wanted to ribb thier Buddy about getting beat by a sport (what are friends for)
Apparently this guy had just sunk about 20,000 into his 250r (I need a job that pays that kind of
money that I could sink into a quad). The 250r had a425cc PSI motor in it. and it was a few links behind
bubba when he was racing, When I race Bubba's bike it does pick up a 2 bike lenght in the sand.
I can't wait for sand fest.
And I would like to see some other fast polaris bikes out there.
Any one at little sahara this weekend to catch the action?
See ya

The answer you give them is P-O-W-E-R, and spell it out like that. Then when they say it's a what? You say Polaris. I love the reaction. Had that at Silve Lake also. Way to run 'em Bubba and Dana!

Funny you ask,
Well JP would of been one of them he broke early Friday morning
and headed back. Joey (which is usually is the owner of very fast banshees
that JP drives) had the turbo banshee that was green no one came even close
to running with him. That bike has the mercedes emblem on it.
Young Jim from jims sand toys even ran against Joey and Kip also. And well
if you put wings on it it would fly.
And as for Centerville, Yes we go there often.
Wayne (the owner of the track) is building a 300 foot dirt drag,
with all the lights, reaction time, 60foot, 150 foot, 300 ft times
and also mph. Which would be pretty cool. He said it should be ready
by may or June. He has the lanes wide enough for the trucks and
buggys to race if they want.
When he gets it ready I will start a thread. I would really like to see a lot of
people show up.
If very many people where out there I was the one flagging most of the time,
even though you couldn't tell for the coveralls and helmet, with the long hair hanging out

Hey bubba if you get out to Texas there is a sand drag track in Burleson Texas (Dallas area) that is really growing. A buddy of mine is a contributing editor for ATV Sport magazine and did the story on it in the May issue. We were there together in November and man it's cool. I didn't take my quad and sure wish I would have. We are going to meet Mark there over Easter Weekend and I'm definetly taking my quad this time. The web site is Texassanddrags.com. Sure would like to see that quad of yours run. See ya later. Shawn.

If you are refering to the dunes in Waynoka I was there with my Aaen 440 98 sport. I had a good time smoking a few raptors, 250R, banchees, 400ex. .... However the drag bikes were killing me. But I did have a good time.

There are no Sand Dunes in Wyanoka OK. only small sand piles with bit fuggin ruts, monster ruts, big monster ruts with truck tracks and buggy tracks 2-3 ft. deep. And no place to camp, because its too Crowded to find a spot to park.
But if you like to party alot its a great place to get drunk and stay off the sand piles because of all the traffic........................................... .................................................. .................................................. ...........
