does any body know if the 2004 predator will have reverse? or any other major differences

 

Nope, same great machine. With the tighter turning radius, you really don't miss the reverse. They're a blast to ride right out of the box.

 

It would be nice if they redesined the plastic, or added the pure polaris option of a bigger gas tank for gncc riding that filled the gap between the cab plastic and the seat. That would add about 3/4 of a gallon, and then a small cowboyhat by the handlebars and your set and have 5 gal. for the long hauls! And I really don't miss reverse. Compared to the scrammy, just use a little man power and you can throw it around pretty easily!

Have you seen any aftermarket toys for the predator down in the lower 48? I live in Alaska we get info last. I have a 03 Troy Lee. Smaller Sproket and K and N filter and changed the front bumper and added all the protection for the bottom of the bike. Alos Piped with the White Brothers Pure Polaris pipe which I heard actually kills some horsepower? Rich

 

Have had my DS for almost two years, no reverse - don't need it.

If the DS wasn't out there, I would consider the Predator if I was looking to buy today.

 

Hey, uh, Rich, that W/B silencer adds HP. Couple that with a K&N, and some Univents for the airbox, you're set.

 

univent???? I am used to riding 4x4's this is my first go getter. I was told the E W/B pipe lowers the mid range but has great high and low end hp? Is this true?

 

Why don't they have Troy lee or just any picture of the predator in the icons what up with that???

 

you can upload your own icon, i think i might even have one or two predator ones, you can get them from polaris' website.

Many people have said that the pipe kills midrange power, that it actually runs better without the Pure Pred pipe. Dont know anything firsthand, however.
