I have an early build 700 sportsman. The only mod is an Earlandson clutch kit. My friend just bought a 700 sportsman also, and he has a slight edge on me at top speeds. What else could a guy do to get that little bit more top end out of my machine. Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanx

 

i installed a k&n filter on my 500, got about 3 more mph.

 

Good idea, I`ll order one today............

 

get some vforce reed they give you 5 mph more n their 140$ and if you have 350 bucks get a toomey racing pipe gives you 10mph more

Im not sure about his cousin but the 700 I have dont have any reeds..

 

The 700 is a 4 stroke doesnt have reeds and cannot get a toomey pipe my friend. u sure ur not talking about a blaster or banshee??
