Anyone dyno there predator??

Just wondering what kind of numbers you got. We spent a few hours on the dyno with a predator running many, many pulls. The stock exhaust died off before the rev limiter and the white brothers carried peak hp to it. We were also dynoing another pipe that info will be released later. I was surprised that jetting was hard to get right on it, and it did not improve the hp much (dynojet). There looks like a lot of room to improve on the air intake. What kind of numbers have you guys gottten??

14MINS, My bike has spent some time on the dyno. Stock your numbers are about the same as I have seen. around 40 to 42 seems to be the normal. And you are correct in the airbox being a problem area. Matching the intake flow(air box) , carb jetting, and exhaust back pressure is critical to get this thing to respond. If any one of these area's get out of balance it just will not respond favorably. After alot of testing Superbike shop developed a kit to modify the air box, rejet, modify the slide in the carb, to work with the White Bros pipe with specific number of disc to tune back pressure. The White Bros slip on and "Airforce" kit as it is known made 6-7 hp and 8 lbs of torque in the mid range and 2 peak hp on the upper end. It also rev's to the limiter a full 2 seconds quicker. The soft touch rev limiter on the CDI starts @8500 and is in full control @9005 rpm. Superbike shop has a prototype CDI box that has a different curve and rev's to 10,000 rpm that they are trying to get into production. In order for you to get maximum results with the new pipe, your going to have to tune the air box and carb to the pipe. PM me and i can tell you some things to try.

sp700- What you said about the carb slide..... In our dyno runs you could tell when the carb slide was opening. What kind of mods do they have for a carb slide?? Looking at the dyno runas the predator looks like a fun dune ride to me. It looks like a 2 stroke on the graph. The harder you ride it the better it will perform. I do like the way the quad makes power to the limiter. Sounds like you are going to have a wicked predator. I hope to see you out this year on it.
