Ok, now I have to decide what to buy. Took out a 2003 Scrambler 500 4x4. Great machine. I want to take out a Trail Blazer 400 next. I know one is 4x4 other 4x2. Either one will do for me. A little scared after hearing about cam problems in the 500. Like the idea of 4 wheel drive and 4 stroke. Also like the idea of the 2 stroke and zip. From what I've read in here they are very close in power. The 4 wheel drive is a plus, not a must. But, the 4x4 is $2000.00 more. MMMMM could take the extra money left if I buy the Trail Blazer and get MORE POWER. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about the cam problem, it was very isolated and only a few had the bad cams, I think the 2000-2001's were the only ones affected. You could add alot of power to the 250, depends really on how and where you ride as to whether you need 4wd or not, but unless you are doing some serious mud bogging or something, 2wd can usually go where a 4wd can, within reason.

 

2wd can go almost anywhere a 4wd can if you go fast enough [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] now snow is another story, also the scrammy won't foul plugs like a 2 stroker, I would go with the scrammy if i was you, around here we always find places to cross and get stuck, so 4wd is handy, also the blue looks nicer than yellow.

 

I think the yellow is nicer, but they do make a limited edition in blue.
