dead predator
#1
my best friend bought a tld pred and last weekend while riding it all of the sudden started knocking so he immedietly shut it off and hauled it into the dealer three days later they called up and told him to go in and talk to him. so him and i went in and there sat the pred with no motor in it and the mechanic pulls out a box full of parts he said that he called polaris and asked for a new motor because he needs everything but the side cases. apparently it busted the third or fourth gear shift dog i think he called it and that some how chiped a few gears the jug and now it leaks antifreeze fromn the head. the real kicker is they said they put it on red alert status but expect parts to be in in mid july. 3 months away.
needless to say he is a litle pssed.
thought i should tell you but i have to say it is a awesome machine when it was running and he loved it

Wow, thats a shame. Polaris shouldn't leave him out in the cold for 3 months because of a problem that is their fault. They should atleast give him a new quad or something. Although I know that is highly unlikely. I find it pretty lame that you have to wait over 3 months for a quad that you bought brand new, and the problem is their fault.
Just my nickel.
Just my nickel.
