i have a 02 scrambler 400 2-stroke and was wondering who makes the best bigbore kit?

 

Aaen performance makes a good big bore kit, but you can get more power with the stock bore if that is what you are looking for. Check out Aaen, HPD, and RCR for your mods.

 

i just got off the phone with rick ritter he seems like a very nice guy and that who i will probably deal with for the mods..how do u get more power from the stock bore?

 

You will just get more power from a stock bore, I don't know why, but you do. If you go and look at Aaens website of their big bore kit and then go look at HPD's website of their race kit, you will see that they are getting much more power out of the stock bore. I guess with the stock or near stock bore you get more compression?? Look at those two sites' dyno's and you will see what I mean.

Hey Scrambler420 if you look at HPD web page that is my red scrambler 400 2x4 it depends on what you are going to do with it to what kind of mods you need to do! What are you planning on doing with it? MX Racing, Drag Racing, Trail Riding? Then i can tell you what to do with it!

 

Huh, how is that?? They only made 4x4 Scrambler's in 2000 and that says Michael of Georgia, you are Will from North Carolina??? What gives, different picture or something I didn't see??

 

well i mostly do trail riding and sand dunes..i was checking out the trail mod kit from HPD seems to be alot cheaper than aaen which is the better kit?im still thinking im going to go with rickritter what do you guys think?

 

They made 2x4 400's in 2000 because i own one! Im Will from NC if you click on HPD in Action mine is the one with the wheelie bar!
