Ronnie,
Ya know.. I've got a 220 volt a/c unit in my shop... I can probably mount it to the front rack, Gonna be one hell of an extension cord though..
Maybe I should buy a Honda to tow behind me and set it up as a generator?.. Although trying to wheelie thru the duck pond might be an adventure..
Kagey, The rod end replacements I installed are longer than the factory stuff, and when I first installed them, I reset the toe to the factory settings... With the 27" Tri/Bi Magnums.. it was IMPOSSIBLE to steer while on the throttle. I reset it with more toe in and it REALLY helped it out ALOT.. I can turn the tires full lock either way without pulling muscles. Even at a dead stop.

Mud; you got that right on the front end setting if its not right its a handful to steer.
I really like the little 250 4x4 ,on the rare occasion that my wife lets me ride it. It doesn't have a lot of low end power but once you get the revs up its a blast to ride. Its light enough that you can really pitch it around.

Kagey- Pete/NY here. Just reading your post on the hard steering on the Polaris if settings are not correct. I have a 99 Explorer and have had it to the dealer 2 times to have the front end adjusted-still not right. What aand how do you do yours to keep it steering right? Thanks Pete

Pete; The easiest way to set the front end is to go in and break the lock nuts on the tie rods loose first then tie a rope around the Quad about half way up the tires. Set your bars staight forward. Then adjust your tie rods until you have a small amount of clearance between the rope and the rear edge of the front tires (between 1/8 and 1/4 inch)I always go closer to 1/8 however. This will give you a slight toe out in the front. Which is what the factory reccomends.
