If I am not mistaken (which I could be) the Cyclone was available in 87 as a 250, in 88 and later it is known as a Trailblazer 250.

THe Cyclone was a 87 it was a 250cc factory ported and piped with a clutch kit. They were very fast and could run with any of the stock 250s of there time.I would love to have a good one now.

Default Questions about Cyclone

I have one of these Cyclone's, an 87 as I recall. It has been sitting for a few years but I wouldn't mind fixing it up again. Do you know any cheap upgrades for it? The dealer in this area is a joke, at first they told me that Polaris didn't make it...lol.

I wouldn't want to do any namecalling, or affend a "box of rocks" to tell you about their intelligence. I just used the search sites but not many list anything for cyclone except used stock parts.

Default Questions about Cyclone

The Cyclone would run right with the 400L machines, from what I have seen. They had an aggressive clutch, and were made to GO. About the only drawback (if you can call it that) was the noise. Sounded like a 250 motocross bike (BRRRRRIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGG-a-dinng-a-ding-ding-ding-a-ding).

Hey, I bet I just did the best sound effect on this thread so far
