Who makes them and how much? Do they help much?

 

daryl rath makes some they cost 45.00 i made mine myself out of stainless rathracing.com

 

PRM scoops are way better than Rath IMO - they bring in more air because they cover top and bottom istead of just sides of radiator. I put PRM's on mine and they help alot - the fan doesnt run near as much. I paid 40 bucks for mine - they look really nice too!

Colopred, how did the installation go on your PRM radiator scoop? Did you have to make any holes, cuts, or otherwise have do any modifications? Do you notice if your engine runs any cooler? Thanks.

The PRM scoops need no modifications at all - they intall easy u just have to take off 4 screws on the radiator and the scoops mount right there - they fit great and even protect your antifreeze reservour. I had them installed in less than 5 min. And yes they work great - my fan hardly ever comes on now -it used to come on all the fricken time.

NP Ken - I'm sure yours work great too. I bought the PRM's after seeing a pic of them on predatorowners.com and comparing against the pic on your sight I liked the looks better. I also heard many raves about the PRM scoops and after owning them myself, I agree - they are awesome looking and lightweight and keep my PRED cool and happy. Also, I prefer to run engine ice and with it the fan never runs - even in Colorados 90deg + days.
