Stock...no one of these machines can take all categories. Every single one has it's own little niche aimed at a certain group of riders. The banshee will prob. give you the most thrills in the top end and is dune oriented. The raptor and KFX are aimed straight at trail riders with the nice reverse option. And the Pred is also a good trail machine, but almost has a 50/50 blood to be a wannabe racer crowd. It's really not fair to say which is the best becuase they all have their niche. If speed is your thrill, banshee it up. If you want tourqe and quick trails, the raptor and KFX are ready to go, and if you want something built to go jumping right away, the pred prob. has the best stock suspension to cousion the landing. Pick one and ride!!

I would agree with FMF for the most part, though the Raptor can be a little tippy if you arn't used to the machine. It seems to like to 'bicycle' alot around agressive cornering. To each his/her own. If you are looking at buying one of the 4 you listed, be sure to plant your azz on each one. It's always better to know someone with all 4 that you can actually ride them instead of a parking lot, but just sitting on one might make all the difference in the world to you, if you arn't comfortable on it, you probably won't ride it to it's potential.

If the quads are left stock then i would go with the Pred. as far as speed goes, I would take a KFX for trails.

Just curious why you think STOCK a banshee would be a better speed machine than a Pred? I'm only wondering because in MY experience, I can take a STOCK Shee by a couple of bike lengths. Modified Shees are a WHOLE different game; but, stock for stock, I think the Pred can take it.... That's just MY experience (which means it's my opinion and not a fact!)

Puddle once again great reply! I like your posting, you point out the different quads good points not trying to slam them like most do! You don't have the typical mine is the greatest thing since sliced bread attitude. Very objective and accurate!

Racing: Predator/KFK
Trails: Raptor/KFX
Sheer Thrills Unmatched by 4 strokes: Banshee
