wix also makes carquest filters, same #s, maybe a 51 in front of them, I won't run anything less on my streetbike..crossover refrence fits yamaha roadstar, royal star, a lot of polaris, kawasaki 650, this is a very common filter, I think the only diffrence between the 1358 & the 1356 or 1357, is the inset in the filter area, if you have a large nut that sticks out where you screw the filter on (like yamaha) the 1358 is what you need, otherwise the other will work. these are motorcycle filters, If I remember, not a car filter..they have about twice the filter medium in them than stock..if they are more than 9-10 bux, you may want to look at a mobil 1, or amsoil filter, as they have a fine spun fabric medium instead of a paper medium.. they will filter to a finer particle, from what is said. I think they are about 10 bux or so..don't quote me on the price..I used to get the 1358 all the time, for 8 bux, but they went up on me at napa..
