Z400 or KFX700?
#12
I owned one of each for 3 years. If you don't mind spending a little green, then the 700 is the way to go.
However, with that said, it really depends on how you want to use them. If you are a MX'er, then the 400 will suit your needs better. Be sure and keep an eye on the upper front shock mounts. For Trails, Dunes or Drags, the 700 is the better choice.
As far as the intelectuals that say the 700 is: "not sporty enough", "doofiest looking thing ive ever seen" and my personal favorite "clumsy, oversized, and handles like a shopping cart full of bowling ***** going down a mountain with 3 bad casters"
They need to get out more. I don't think these quads look too bad and if you want to know how well they go, ask around.
The Orange KFX800 makes over 250 HP (At the crank) with the Turbo and no NOS. You can dune this quad all day long and it gets better gas milage than a stock KFX.
The Black & Red KFX730 was built to do Tree Shots and Dunes. It has been everywhere and anywhere you can take a quad and does it with little or no effort. To see it is to believe it. To ride it is to make a believer out of those that don't have a clue.
