<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>What if you can't decide? </end quote></div> Blurggahhfa... (Sound of a moose regurgitating.) Man, that is awful. Jumbo, you're scaring me now... For the crowd that blames the Republicans for this mess; I agree with you in that they should have fought the liberals harder than they did back in the early 90s. One of the representatives from my lovely home state of Massachusetts (Barney Frank) wanted the rules that the federal lending institutions were governed by loosened, so low income people could get housing loans. With President Clinton, they loosened the rules. Soon, the FDIC (government agency that oversees banking) began to question banks as to why they weren't writing more loans to minorities and low income people. They pressured banks (I remember my wife telling me about it. She is an internal bank auditor) into writing loans they wouldn't have before because of insufficient resources for the buyer to afford the house. The result is that the loans are failing and banks are losing money and failing. If they had been allowed to run under the rules they had before it wouldn't be much of a problem except for lenders who specialized in writing loans to low income buyers. It's bad but not as bad as it was in the late 80s to early 90s. There was an over 6% foreclosure rate then and it's about 2.8% now. My wife remembers the bank being quiet on Fridays as that was the day the FDIC would take over failing banks. She said that even with the bailout the failure rate of banks is nowhere near what it was then.

"Politicians are like butt holes they all get dirty from time to time"

In all honesty we would have been better off with Hillary...especially with Bill in the background secrectely running things.

No matter what, whoever you vote for there will be things you would like to see done differently. Id like to think that no matter who is elected they will have the middle class american in mind, we are the ones supporting America on our shoulders we support the medicare, medicaid, welfare so on and so forth, these are the pressing matters not " oh man i hope i can keep my gun!" what's more important a gun or illegal immigrant's getting your social security and then cutting you up so bad...you wish they didnt cut you up so bad?

Still pissed that the Mexican government put out pamphlets on how to illegally cross into the US.

I don't care who gets elected, but I'd hope they'd say something like, you stop telling your people how to illegally arrive in our country, and we'll stop dropping pamphlets on how to overthrow the Mexican government to the ones that stayed.

I think the official ballot should be the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.

But, then I'd really have trouble making a choice.</end quote></div>
