Hey guys about what was the top speed and how did the old quadzilla's accelerate? Also about how many horsepower did they make stock? I posted this somewhere else but I thought I might get more answers here, thanks.

fastest stock atv, largest two-stroke atv, throw some mods on like pipe, not FMF , air filter, bore job w/ new boost-ported piston, high comp. head, porting and larger carburator and definitely gear up for high speeds that will kill you if you wreck. its cooler that way. either way its fast enough to kill you.

Greetings fellow mud beings
mudslinger400z, it's been years since I've seen a Suzuki LT500 Quadracer or Quadzilla as they are affectionately called. I knew 3 buddies who bought them when they first came out in 1987 or 1988 and they drove them for a couple of years. I don't know what happened to the quads and I never seen my buddies for years now BUT I think they got so close to the speed of light that they were transported to sometime in the future where they started to drive 3 cylinder 1800 cc Quad Monsters and they have refused to come back.
All kidding aside I think the top speed of a stock zilla was 90 miles an hour when clocked going down the highway beside another buddies car.

I'd beleive it, a buddy of mine had one and it usually took a lot to scare me but that thing freaked me out when he took me for a ride on it. That story was pretty funny skidder. Thanks everybody for the info.
