KFX400 and Z400 are the same things with different colored plastics, and are a little faster than a 400ex.

Well I'd imagine the more powerful Z400 would do better, but I never have really hill climbed on an EX

They're about the same for hill climbing.

The 400ex has more low end grunt than the Z400, so you'll have to keep your engine speed slightly higher when riding a Z400.

I agree with corpsie but the z400 has more power to go fast up a steep hill. There both excellent hill climbers. A raptor will scream up a hill. Banshee's are also pretty good hillclimbers plus the front end doesn't want to pull up on you so you can keep all four tires on the ground.

Oh also if you're comparing the z400 against the kfx400 it's just picking between your favorite color of green or yellow also suzuki has a white z which I think is pretty sweet. Also which company you'd rather say you own a kawi or a zooki quad. I personally like both but the suzuki was at the dealer and a kawi wasn't the day I got mine so the choice was even easier.

Love my Z!
My friend has a 400ex (also piped) and he cant touch me in a race.
Both good quads.
Z/kfx has reverse and is liquid cooled.
