Does an LTZ 250 perform better than others in its class. Also does it have a good frame i heard the LTZ 400 was braking the shock mounts off.

 

the z 250 is not a true sport quad with it's auto clutch, and shaft drive, it will beat a 250ex in top speed but not a 300ex, or the older 250x, which is faster than a 300ex. i not sure about the frame.

 

A Z250 can ALMOST beat a 300EX, but not quit, but it can definately beat a 250EX. As for the frame problems I'm not sure about that. A couple days ago I noticed that the paint was chipping off of the welds on the a-arm mounts, so that might mean there is going to be a cracking problem. But I haven't noticed a crack in the metal itself yet, just have to wait and see what happens. But other than that is is a very good sport quad.

 

So the paint is only coming off so far it hasn't broke if you have any problems could you tell me.

I don't think it can, it might but I think the 300ex has a little more topend. I know a 250x is quite a bit faster than a 250ex. A 250x might outdrag a 300ex in a short drag, I think it's quite a bit lighter.

 

i just bought a z250 about a month ago and i have been beating on this thing( not literally just using it like crazy) and it has taken it well..... i think it is better at speed and hill climbing than the 250ex by far... i love itz 9.1 inch ground clearance... it helps me though mud...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

jaimes braun how do u know if its better than a 250ex by far u never rode one u just bout that quad because it looked cool and u havent beat on it if u havent even busted ur can on it yet u havent beat on it u callin ridin up the street to my house beatnin on it
