Out of the 400 Class what would you pick?

Which would you pick and why.
I myself am torn between a Honda 400ex and Suzuki Z400. Honda 400ex for reliablilty and Suzuki Z400 for the reverse and extra little bit of power. Both are great quads though

I was hooked on the EX cause thats what I learned on , I was going to get an EX but alot of friends told me to get the Z , one of my friends that did the Z/Raptor shoot out filled me in on the goods and bads , after I seen his video which was short but to the point on Dirtwheels web site I was conviced that was the quad for me , I am the only one in our group that has one and when we swap quads there is only one EX out of the 3
that I feel almost as comfortable riding as when I am on mine , but his also has 416 kit , extended axle , CDI , and Works shocks . Mine only has the mods in my sig . I would rather ride mine overall , but my wife likes to take over the ride time on mine and I am stuck with the 416.
There is my .02 , if you want something now go with the Z/KFX but if your willing to wait till fall/winter maybe spring to see what Honda comes out with. Hondas are great in all aspects of a quad but they need a change cause of the Z/KFX and others . Honda's reliabilty factory is best overall by far in my opinion but thats all they got going for them now.

The 416kit is a night and day difference compared to stock with light mods , I can wheel through whoops better on my friends 416 then I can on my KFX . The down fall is my friend put the 416 kit on the EX and we are dead even top end , I felt pretty bad cause at the dunes I was smoking him with mine and had no paddles , he was riding with geckos and only beat me 2 out of the 10 races we did . We also have or quads tuned and dynoed at the same place , he is 2hp less then mine so we have not been able to figure it out .
All in all do the 416 over the 440 you will have less maintanence and you will still have the bullet proof reliability factor that 400 ex's carry so well.
Since I ride with mostly EX's I have found that they are way more easier to work on out on the trail over Z's and Rappy's
Do you have a CDI for your EX ? Imo the WB pipe you have is the best for the EX unless you do a custom . One of the other EX's has a WB , CDI (big gun) , and a 14t front sprocket and it pulls just as hard as the 416

I own both. The Z should be your choice!! It is incramentally better than the Honda, in every way. That Z motor is a real peach, but DO NOT leave it stock. It will pick up a lot of low end if you let the thing breathe!!
