stop saying that the kawasaki v-force 700 KFX is 2wd!
go to www.kawasaki.com
click on atv's then choose KFX
then click on the v-force 700

look into it's specifications, features etc and u will see that it is 4x4
and if you look closely at the first picture you can see it's two front driving shafts (i'm not blind)
and its final drive is shaft driven not chain , so i say more, that its 4WD

here is a direct link for the atv
http://www.kawasaki.com/atv/movie.asp?bike=kfx700

this atv was converted slightly from the praire version (plastic body and other small parts)

i'm not arguing with you, friends, just telling my thoughts from what i had read and seen....

Still FrIeNdS

Oh Boy! Your last post is going to start some flaming.
Really the kfx700 v-force is 2wd.
No where in the specs. does it say 4wd. here's the specs.

FEATURES
- 697cc V-twin engine with dual Keihin downdraft carburetors provide maximum torque while 90-degree cylinder offset produces perfect primary balance to minimize vibration.
- Super-responsive Kawasaki Automatic Power Drive System (KAPS) with special Kevlar reinforced drive belt enhances acceleration while maximizing durability.
- Forward-neutral-reverse grip-type shifter is positioned conveniently on the left handlebar to make gear selection quick and easy.
- Racing-style chassis with single-spar front frame tube for maximum A-arm length is the design of choice amongst Grand National Cross Country ATV racers.
- Dual A-arm front suspension features 9.25 inches of travel—the long, flat angle of the A-arms provide optimum handling by minimizing "tire scrub" during up-and-down suspension travel.
- Unitized alloy swingarm with large-capacity, piggyback rear shock and dual-rate spring features compression damping, pre-load adjustment and 7.9 inches of travel.
- Unitized swingarm also features integrated shaft drive and Kawasaki's exclusive, sealed multi-disc brake assembly for superior ground clearance and fade-free braking power.
- Low-mounted 3.2-gallon fuel tank helps keep the center of gravity low for enhanced handling.
- GNCC-proven ITP Holeshot tires provide maximum traction and stability.
- Aluminum alloy rims feature welded inserts for added strength and durability.
- 90 watts of halogen lighting power gives the nighttime rider exceptional visibility.
- Sport-style serrated footpegs allow maximum rider mobility and control.

Its funny how everybody has all these opinions about the KFX700 but they have no idea what they are talking about. I suggest driving one before you post your opinion about it.

ok then, i'm not arguing that its 100% 4wd but at least in the specs it says that it is shaft drive (not chain) i think that if it was 2WD it would be chain driven aye?

if somebody drove the 700 v-force please let us now!!! and let us know also if the front wheels spin with the rear ones! LOL

Dont worry qwk450, we are just talking, we're not gonna catch fire hhehe

it was made to be shaft drive for duribility and for getting more power to the ground, it doesnt neccesarily mean its 4 wheel drive, hell, the honda 250 ex is 2wd and its shaft drivin and the polaris 4 wheel drives have chains to the front and back wheels,so it doesnt neccesarily mean its shaft that is 4 wheel drive and green700 just telll him that its 2wd

Mine is definitely 2wd.

The 4wd version exists, it's called the Prarie 700. It's really a totally different machine with the same engine.

There, the secret is out! The beans are spilled.

Ok, first off you need to read it closter it says "When Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., unveiled the V-twin-powered Prairie® 650 4x4 in 2001, it changed every idea of what constituted a four-wheel-drive all-terrain vehicle (ATV)" NOT the VFORCE.. Dude, go to a kawi dealer and find your drive shaft.. Its IS shaft drive and an automatic.. thats why the big hoopla all along has been. it has NO possibilty of 4x4.. I really think you should look at some machines before you start preaching about quads when you dont know.. this is a place for questions not misleading information.

Here it is,, the VFORCE IS 4x2. THe praire 700 is 4x4.. these ATVs are ONLY the same when it comes to the motor. I am not sure if the p750 is EXACTLY the same motor sometimes they detune them as in the Grizzly and Raptor both are the 660 motor but one has 1 carb, and different cams..

I've never heard of a P750. These things just keep getting bigger. THey should just make a 1 liter quad and get it over with.
