Default drag racing tips

I have a 2000 Trailblazer 250 and have drag raced it a couple of times in the past few months. The first time I run 41 MPH. and after that race I put on a DG exhaust system and raced again and this time I run 37 MPH. The next race is in 2 weeks and I need to know if there is anything I could do to get my speed back to normal or faster? Thanks.

no I have not jetted it yet. I have been trying to find what size jets to put in it. I alos thought about a clutch spring. Do you know what size jets or what color clutch spring to put in?

You will have to jet up a step or 2. You are leaning out the mixture by not doing so. This is why your speed is sufferning.
