i am looking into buying a sports quad i want something good for trails , jumps , and racing my buddies out in the field , can anyone recommend one .

 

400ex is great for trails and just playing around. but you can mod it and race with it. great all around quad

well a good all around for that is either the kfx/z400 or the raptor,both with good power and has reverse and the you could consider the kfx700.

 

LOL LT500, rarest quad...i suggest the predator, great shocks, really quick!

ive never seen a kfx400 in person, but people have been telling me they are junk, i dont like kawasaki at all, but this is what ive been told

kfx is the same as the z400 theres nothin wrong with the z400

 

hard to say which one is the best, they are all good.

400ex is a good mild trail bike in stock form that can be made fast, but no reverse (wtf?!!??)

Z400 and it's clones are supposed to be the best 400 bike, I dunno, never rode one, but everyone loves them!

Predator is more of a race bike then trail, right? (could be wrong, dunno)

Raptor, 660cc, what else can I say!

try them all, see what you like. I bought the Raptor because I already have one 660cc bike, figured a second would be pretty badazz, and I have been a Yamaha rider since the early 80's. I will say this, I had a 250x and it was as about as bullet proof a bike as you could want (see my gallery for the whole story)
