I'd definately stay away from the 250EX, and sadly the Z250 just b/c there aren't many aftermarket parts for it if you plan on racing anytime soon. I have heard that the 300EX is great for trailriding and also it has many aftermarket parts for it.

300EX!! As long as you can handle the manual clutch. Best trail bike I ever rode! It's has real sport quad suspension, where the others show their utility bike heritage. Put some square tires (like Holeshots) on it so it won't be so tippy. Mods up pretty well too.

If you want a good all around quad get the z250, but if you're just going to be racing, get the 300EX.

Well if you're parents will let you I'd get a 400ex, you can get one that runs great used for 3300 easily, and dump the rest of your money in upgrades. If you want help with what aftermarket stuff to get just pm me. Im 15 and I just started jumping mine, and it does pretty good. Plus this way you wouldn't have to worry about outgrowing it anytime soon, and they have the most aftermarket parts out of everything except for the 250r. Anyways whatever you get make sure you get nerfbars, running your legs over doesn't feel to good.
