Ex - nice quad, great handling, very ligh and nimble, good wheelie machine, safe, good to learn clutch on.
warrior - bit heavy, bit outdated, not to easy to lift front end, sits rather low, good overall quad, just a bit old.
best wheelie machine - ex
best jumping machine - warrior(from my experience)
handling - ex
faster - warrior
ex is a few hundred cheaper, more nimble quad, warrior is older technology but best selling sport quad ever.

In my opinion the Warrior is a beeter jumper than the EX and it is a little faster on acceleration and top speed. However the Warriors suspension is not quite up to par for track use like the 300EX. Either are great machines but I say either go with the Warrior or try to find a used 400ex.

The warrior weighs about 20lbs over the 300ex, but has about 5 hp more. Stock for stock the warrior will be faster than a 300ex. I'd sit on both, take 'em for a ride, see what you like the best. I would not purchase one new; these quads are both well-built and have been proven to take abuse. Also, you;ll want to upgrade in a year or so.

I have owned both. The 300 was the best trail bike I ever rode! It handles great. Suspension was pretty good. The bike mods up pretty well.
I rode a Warrior for years. I can't recommend it! It handles big and heavy. The Warrior is a little faster, but speed means nothing if the bike doesn't handle.

acuttly i have a stock 300ex and raced a piped warrior( only hit like 4th gear- but at the end he has 1 gear advantage) but he was piped and we hit 4th gera before taking a turn, and i was ahead of him the whole time and i was stock, but the whole race i was infront of him... in the end he would have topped out higher than me, but in a shorter drag the 300ex will beat it(unitl warrior hits 6th) and will beat a blaster through ou the whole drag

I've owned both and I would have to say go with the Warrior, it's more reliable and quicker, and in my opinion better at trail riding also, my 300EX got the Warrior off the line but the Warrior took it around 3rd-4th and beat it pretty good. It had different gearing and a pipe when I got it so I don't know how the comparsion would be stock.

Well i owned a Warrior. And I loved it. It had great acceleration, good handling, and i had no problem lifting up the front end. I would buy the warrior over the 300 ex becuase of the speed and they jump nicer. And all you people saying that it is out dated well it ain't. They haven't changed a thing on it becuase there are no probelms to begin with, so they leave it.

the warroir is beter in speed accel butt not in jumping they tend to bottem out on small jumps the 300ex has better handeling but will mot keep up in drags and it is a better jumper and the warroir is the better hill climer but with not stock tires
