I have been riding a Utility atv my entire life, I mostly ride in fields and trails, never really race. I love riding wheelies and riping through trails, seems like utility's are a too sluggish for me. I want to get a sport quad like a 400ex. The 03' kodiak isn't fast and exciting enough for me. Would i be disapointed getting a 400ex? I think the only thing i would miss would be reverse.

 

Warrior...or Z400. both have reverse and warrior is about as fast as 400ex a little slower and z400 is faster than 400ex.

I only ride a utility when it is absolutely necessary!

 

the 400ex is nice but all sport quads are.

Hey you should try out a Scrambler 500 4X4...
It's Great, Best of both worlds!!
& if/when you need a TRUE 4X4, Touch button.
also It has a sporty feel, not an ute feel.
I can wheelie w/ ease w/ this Big boi...
Also pretty fast, Had her up to 65-68mph, passing an ute..

I would go test ryde a few bike's your Interested in....
Get a feel for them all...
