What to buy

I'm looking to buy a new quad by this summer and don't know what to go with. I currently ride a HPD piped Trailblazer, and I hate it. It is too slow, accelerates too slowly, and weighs a ton. I'm looking for a manual clutch machine, with emphasis on ground clearance, suspension, and handling, as I mostly ride rough rocky trails, but occassionally ride MX tracks and sand pits. Speed and power are important, but are 2nd priority. With all of the new 400s being released, I'm at a loss for what to buy. I'm considering the Suzuki 400, the Kawasaki 400, Predator, Raptor, Banshee, 400ex,.. anything else that would be classified along with these. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I just bought a Suzuki Z400 and I absolutely love it. I rode my cousins Raptor for a week while he was on vacation because I had my eyes set on it. But after riding a Z400, in my opinion there was a big difference in handling and comfort. As you can see I chose the Suzuki and I have enjoyed every minute on it.

Yeah, buy a used STOCK SHEE in good condition, take it home and strip it down (throw the stock shocks away, stock a-arms, axle, handle bars, pipes, tires, reeds, and air-box/air-filter) Then take out your motor, send it to CT racing, replace all of the stuff with high performance aftermarket accessories and BAM you have a MX ROCKET!!!
Say you pay 2 G's for the used SHEE, drop off 6 G's, and you will have a brand new bike for the price you woulda paid for a new one!! BUT, I will gurantee you that none of the new bikes will keep up with in wether it be a MX track, an asphalt drag race, a TT track, or even through the trails!! Why? BECAUSE IT IS A ROCKET MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
just my .02 worth..................

The suzuki 400 seems like a good choice but I didn't know if it would have the clearance to be a good trail machine in the rocks. i also wasnt sure if it was too race bred to be used in the tighter painstaking trails.
