Default Beer & Oil

I was kickin it in my barn last weekend with a couple of friends and a cooler full of beer. After chugging a few I decided to change the oil in Raptor....everything went smooth. A little BSing with the boys and a few more brewskis and I decided to change the oil in the Warrior.

The results? A stripped drain plug, three bleeding knuckles, a spilled can of beer, and oil everywhere. I guess the SOB that put the drain plug on last over-tightened the snot out of it.....oh wait......that might of been me. :-)

Gee, I'm starting to feel like an idiot. Have none of you had a similar experience or maybe just don't want to admit it?

Nope, I guess it's just you. Another example of beer & bikes not being a good combo. :-)

No way....I don't buy that for second. And please don't misunderstand my post as I was poking fun at my situation more than anything. We are talking beer and wrenching....NOT beer and riding. I love to pound a few with my buds but I DO NOT drink and ride....NOT EVER. Just wanted to clear that up.

LOL....I knew it.
Guess it's just one of those things most people don't want to admit to.

Drain plugs tend to strip after time Mine is being fixed as we speak

I see your in Yucca. I used to live in 29 palms and still go there often.

Don't feel bad, I stripped the hell out mine, and I hadn't even put any down yet!!! About 6-7 beers later, I got the d@mn bolt out. Not a pretty sight, but I got it out!

Me and my buds tend to drink a lot in the barn while trying to work on the quads, it makes simple projects take so long from bsing and laughing so much. As a matter of fact I put in a helicoil for my oilfilter cap last night. I feel ya man.

Mike330R,
I live up in the Sky Harbor area right next to Palomar Wash.....no where that is? I'm less than 1/2 mile from the national forest. I'll sometimes ride out to Sunfair.
