dont know about warriors....raptors work well tho, as long as its good and cold! if it turns to slush the quad's a handful. and yer gonna get wet, no matter what. we buy waterproof snowmobile suits here...if yer in a pinch, Ive seen guys wear chest waders and a raincoat hehe it's a ball tho!

if you go out where its really deep, like 10+ feet where the snowmachines run, make sure you stay on the trails or you wont see that quad again until next June....

Mine handles the snow very well. It's all about tires. I had Razors on my machine, but they don't move in the snow. I put Factory Raptor tires on it from a friends bike, and it handled very well. As long as the snow isn't too deep. The front bumper will act as a plow, and push a mound of snow in front of you, and you will get stuck. Riding in the snow is VERY fun!!!!!

finally got the the tires on the bike today. 250 screws per tire. The traction is awesomw. I will need to do up the fronts but the stockers are getting a little worn. Wheelied down the hardpack drive!!! Unreal!!

I will be using these for tooling around the ice AND snow/hardpack inbetween snow dumps. Now I ALWAYS have something to ride.

For those of you on the snow belt who sled as well, check out the sled trailer mod to run quad/sled or 2 sleds. The rear eyelets are stainless steel and spaced 17" apart so a sled track will fit inbetween. One the front, I bolted 2 U claps to the main ski clamp so I can hold down a sled or clamp the steel bar to the deck and I now have a place to tie the front of the quad to.!!!

Check out the "funky" link to the pix below

Need to find some icescrews for my Pred. Just ordered a set of Kenda Klaws that should perform well in icy/snowy conditions with studs.
Where did you buy yours XC800?

Thanks!

How do you attach the screws? From the pics it looks like you just screw them into the tire? How does this not destroy/pop the tire?
Sorry if I sound like a fool but I never figured that out.

My friend has a warrior and he put some GBC Gators on it and its unstoppable in the snow. It really works great.
