The Cannondale website says it is the same DOHC engine, but the specs show a lower compression ratio on the FX than on the MX. I'm sure they will have different gear ratios and stuff like that.

Cannondale's senior product development engineer said they might punch up the displacement before it reaches production, not higher than 450cc though. He also said it will go into production with those fully adjustable remote can fox shocks though.

It seems like you and I have much in common. I think when all the dust settles we will see Kawasaki on the top of the heap for 2001. If that is the case, you and I will probably have That wonderful shade of green in our garages!

I definitely want a motorcross style quad, but the Cannondale is just too new for me to consider, I am hoping for Kawaski to do something nice as well! Please Kawi, produce a lightwieght motocrosser, dont get involved in the Bigger is Better wars!

Ridzhard if you were talking to me I agree, If we do with me being up here in the Carefree/Cavecreek area we might have to hook up and let some Raptors chase us around for a while.-Keith
