Which Track Stands Top Dog In America
#2
Oh man, you Easterner's have got to get to Washougal once in your live's. Almost entirely natural terrain. Lot's of big hills, rolling jumps, tacky and loamy soil, and it is about 2 1/2 miles long. They have a mx national there every year.

Red Bud. Raced there for years as a shorty. When I was done playing hoops, I got into Vet racing and then quads [much easier to race a 5-9 140lb guy on a quad than it is on a bike]. I always thought other national mx tracks were better form looking at the mags [the grass is always greener on the other side of the ....] but after I went to Southwick and Kenworthy I realized just how great Red Bud is. I did like Unadilla, Glen Helen is cool but I wouldn't want that to be my home track. Washougal is easily the second best of the national mx tracks I have been to followed by Unadilla. I have not been to Broome-Tioga, Budds Creek or Hangtown. Oh, if you don't like jumps stay away from Red Bud. You earn frequent flyer miles every lap.
Has anybody every had a quad on Southwick?? That would be fun. A bike on the other hand looks like a workout.
Ridley,
Did you run Casey Il last year? I always had a good time at Lincoln Trail. What did you think of it? Was it wet?

Budds Creek in MD is the best track I've ever raced, it's an awesome MX track for quads. Depending on my progress, I'd like to try some of the other big name tracks on the east coast this year.
